Overview
Heavy-payload 6-axis collaborative robot from Doosan Robotics (South Korea): the H-series model with 20 kg payload and the longest reach in the range, 1700 mm. Six joint torque sensors give collision detection; programmed on Doosan's DART platform with a tablet-style teach pendant. Aimed at palletizing, machine tending, welding and other heavy tasks.

Key facts
- Doosan's product page: payload 20 kg (44 lb), reach 1700 mm (66.9 in), repeatability ±0.1 mm, six torque sensors; weight is not on that page. The same page's series text says the H-series 'handles items up to 25 kg', which refers to the H2515.
- Doosan user manual V3.2.1 basic specifications: H2017 weight 79 kg, payload 20 kg within work radius, max work radius 1700 mm, 6 axes, IP54, noise below 65 dB, operating temperature 0-45 C, storage -5 to 50 C, humidity 20-80 %. The manual gives repeatability in a table with five values for six models; the H2017 value is read as ±0.1 mm, matching the product page.
- Weight differs by source: 79 kg (Doosan manual, used; Generation Robots arm 79 kg, controller 13 kg), 74 kg (Unchained Robotics listing), 75 kg (Doosan's 2020 launch press release, quoted for the pair H2017/H2515).
- Max TCP speed is published only as 'over 1 m/s' for the series, so the max_speed fields are left empty. The manual lists mounting 'any orientation' or 'floor only' without mapping it to models, so it is not recorded.
- Launch year left empty (page not opened). Doosan's press release of 2020-07-27 introduced the H2017 and H2515 with shipments from August 2020 (kyodonewsprwire.jp, press release introducing six new cobots; confirmed by a search result 2026-10-17, page itself not opened).
- sdk and ros_support true are based on the manual site's 'ROS 2 Docs.' and 'API Docs.' sections, as for the sibling H2515 and M1013 entries.
- Same H-series arm family as the H2515 (25 kg, 1500 mm reach); the H2017 trades 5 kg payload for 200 mm more reach and 2 kg more weight.
- Image: Doosan's own pages offer only navy-background slides with a cropped base, so the clean render on white is the one hosted by Unchained Robotics (850 px, no watermark). It is a reseller-hosted copy of Doosan's render, not an official download; replace when Doosan publishes a clean image.
