What does Chinese robotics consulting cost? €500 to €750 a day for China-side project management and consulting, or a fixed project fee agreed upfront. A scoped simulation proof of concept starts at €2,900, an AI layer on the robot from €12,500, and training is $2,500 a day. We are paid by the buyer and hold no reseller agreement, so we have no reason to steer you toward a particular machine.

Chinese manufacturers now build the most capable humanoids and quadrupeds available at their price, and European companies buying them run into the same three problems: nobody on their side reads the Chinese specification sheet, nobody is in the room when the machine is tested before it ships, and nothing anyone has bought answers the question of what the robot will actually do once it arrives.

We work from Hangzhou, about 200 km from Shanghai, in direct contact with manufacturers including Unitree, Deep Robotics, Lenovo and BrainCo. The role is technical and it lasts the whole project — not an introduction and an invoice.

Four services

1. Consulting and China-side project management

For companies buying or evaluating a robot from China who need someone on the ground: negotiating with the manufacturer, verifying the hardware before it ships, staying in contact with their engineering team, and reading contracts against how this market actually behaves. Our fee comes from you and only from you.

2. Simulation and prototyping

We test how a robot or an algorithm behaves in a simulator before there is any physical hardware to argue about. Proof of concept from an idea to a working demo in weeks rather than months, delivered as rendered video plus a numeric result you can put in front of a board.

This is the cheapest possible point at which to discover that a task is harder than it looked, and it is the step most buyers skip.

3. The AI layer on the robot

Language and vision models wired into the machine: autonomous agents that carry out a mission without an operator, voice control, task planning from a spoken description, and analysis of the robot's own camera feed. This is the same work as our AI agent development, with a physical machine at the end of it instead of a spreadsheet.

4. Training

Three formats, all one day unless a programme is agreed: the Chinese AI ecosystem — which models exist, who makes them, what is genuinely open source, and how to judge a supplier; robotics from China — manufacturers, platforms, protocols, and where they differ from European norms; and a hands-on workshop that takes a team from a robot API to a working agent. Training regularly turns into the next project, which is the honest reason we price it as an entry point rather than a product.

We also name what we have not done. We have not deployed a VLA policy onto a physical humanoid in a production line, and no page here will imply otherwise until we have.

When to not hire us

If what you want is the cheapest possible unit price on a machine you have already chosen, a freight forwarder and a purchasing agent will do that better and cheaper than we will. We are worth paying when the risk is technical: the task might not be feasible, the specification might not survive contact with your floor, or the software that makes the robot useful does not exist yet.

Judge it the same way we ask clients to judge an automation build — on the value of what the project decides, not on how many units are involved. One robot doing something nobody else in your market can do is worth more analysis than a fleet of machines doing something ordinary.

No. We are paid by the buyer and hold no reseller agreement or manufacturer commission, so there is no incentive to steer you toward a particular machine. We are the technical party on your side of the table, not a broker.

Can a robot be tested before we buy the hardware?

Yes, and it is usually the cheapest step in the project. We put the robot and the control policy in a physics simulator — MuJoCo for Unitree and Deep Robotics platforms — and run the task there. You get rendered video and a numeric result before any purchase order is signed.

Which robot AI models have you actually run?

NVIDIA GR00T N1.7 with the Cosmos-Reason2 backbone, NVIDIA GEAR-SONIC whole-body control on a Unitree G1 in MuJoCo, and Unitree's own UnifoLM-VLA-0 vision-language-action model, which scored 30 of 30 on the LIBERO-Spatial benchmark in our runs. We name what we have run and what we have not.

Where are you based?

Hangzhou, about 200 km from Shanghai, with delivery into Poland and the wider EU. That means a person in the same time zone as the manufacturer, able to visit a factory and read a Chinese specification sheet.
