Overview
Agile-series (A-series) 6-axis collaborative robot with 5 kg payload and 900 mm reach, the smallest of Doosan's A-series (alongside the longer-reach A0912). Aimed at light assembly, machine tending, screwing and pick-and-place at lower cost than the M-series. IP54, any-orientation mounting, programmed through Doosan's DART platform. The A0509S adds an integrated force-torque sensor in joint 6; only the base A0509 is recorded here.

Key facts
- Official basic specifications (Doosan user manual V3.3.0, A-series): payload 5 kg within work radius, max work radius 900 mm, 6 axes, position repeatability +-0.03 mm (ISO 9283), IP54, noise below 65 dB, any installation direction, operating temperature -5 to 45 C.
- Max TCP speed is published only as 'over 1 m/s' (Unchained: 1 m/s), so max_speed fields are left empty.
- Joint ranges: J1, J2, J4-J6 +-360 deg, J3 +-160 deg. Max joint speed at rated payload: J1-J3 180 deg/s, J4-J6 360 deg/s (manual V3.3.0, axis specification).
- Weight 21 kg: the manual's weight row is unlabeled per model ('21 kg, 31 kg' for four models), but Unchained's A0509 page states 21 kg for the arm explicitly (control box 12 kg); the two agree.
- Doosan's own site has no dedicated A0509 page in the fetched content (only the series lineup: A0912S, A0912F, A0912, A0509S, A0509F, A0509); launch year is not published there, so year fields are empty.
