Overview
6-axis collaborative robot arm with 8 kg payload (10 kg with boundary conditions) and a 1750 mm reach in a 44.7 kg arm, from UR's CB5-controller range. UR targets welding, pick and place and quality inspection, where long reach and fast linear motion matter. It has IP65 protection, ISO Class 4 cleanroom rating, a force-torque sensor at the tool flange and a 12-inch PolyScope touchscreen pendant.

- Payload 8 kg, or 10 kg 'with boundary conditions according to the manual' (datasheet, updated September 2026). Reach 1750 mm; repeatability ±0.08 mm (ISO 9283); max TCP speed 5 m/s.
- Joint speeds 180°/s (base, shoulder), 240°/s (elbow), 300°/s (wrists); all six joints ±360°. Footprint Ø204 mm; arm cable 6 m; max power 615 W; ambient 0-50 °C.
- Control box: IP44, 16 DI / 16 DO / 2 AI / 2 AO / 4 quadrature inputs, 12 kg, 100-240 V AC; Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET / PROFIsafe, ROS / ROS 2. Teach pendant IP54, 1.8 kg, 4.5 m cable.
- Datasheet states noise < 67 dB(A) and the product page lists a safety-rated tool flange input; the UR product page says joint torques are about 25% higher and speeds up to 65% higher than UR3e.
- UR's UR10g-1750 page (g-Series, 8 kg / 10 kg extended, 1750 mm, 44.7 kg, ±0.08 mm, 'New') names the UR8 Long as its predecessor. UR's UR8 Long page does not say it is discontinued or name a successor, so the status stays 'available'. UR10g-1750 is not in the catalog yet; when added, set successor_id here.
