Overview
PAL Robotics' modular humanoid research platform: 160 cm, 50-65 kg depending on configuration, 2-DoF torso, 6-DoF legs, configurable 4-, 5- or 7-DoF arms with a quick tool changer, 4 RGB-D cameras and a 976 Wh battery. Runs ROS 2 with ros2_control and a 2 kHz EtherCAT loop, with MuJoCo and mjlab simulation and reinforcement-learning tools (the datasheet marks the RL pipelines as open source).

Key facts
- Total DoF is configurable: 14 to 40 (PAL spec sheet); the page gives no per-configuration weight or DoF, so neither is entered as a single figure. Weight is 50-65 kg.
- Payload per arm, fully extended: 7 kg (4-DoF), 5 kg (5-DoF), 3 kg (7-DoF); bimanual lift 30 / 28 / 25 kg respectively.
- Battery 15 Ah, 63 V = 976 Wh; the datasheet states 3 hours autonomy and speed up to 2 m/s. Its spec table prints '976 Ah', which is inconsistent with the 15 Ah figure; 976 Wh is used.
- Emergency stop: onboard button plus wireless button, SIL 2 (IEC 61508), PL d (EN ISO 13849-1).
- RL policy library: walking, push recovery, running, jumping, stair climbing, dance, box picking.
