Overview
7-axis 'cognitive' collaborative robot from Metzingen, Germany, sold in three sizes (S, M, L; 1100 to 1600 mm reach). Combines a 3D vision camera, a 6-DoF force-torque sensor (NEURA Touch), voice and gesture control and a touchless human-detection safety system with a TÜV-approved safety design. IP65, drag-and-drop programming and a Python API (NeuraPy). NEURA describes it as the world's first commercially available cognitive robot.

Key facts
- Payload is a range per size (datasheet V6, 1 May 2026): S 15-18 kg, M 12-14 kg, L 9-11 kg. The lower number is the payload for the full workspace; the higher one applies only to an application-specific smaller workspace at reduced speed. specs and variants use the conservative lower figure (S 15, M 12, L 9).
- Reach: S 1100 mm, M 1400 mm, L 1600 mm. Weight: S 51 kg, M 53 kg, L 56 kg. Footprint Ø252 mm; control box 25 kg, 100-240 V.
- Accuracy 'at least 0.01 mm' with reference to ISO 9283; NEURA notes robot-specific values may differ with the application environment. Max TCP speed is not published.
- Joint ranges / max speeds: A1 ±180° / 120°/s, A2 ±120° / 120°/s, A3 ±180° / 150°/s, A4 ±150° / 150°/s, A5 ±180° / 200°/s, A6 ±145° / 200°/s, A7 ±180° / 360°/s (A7 speed 'to be released 2025').
- Safety rating differs between NEURA's pages: the product page says 'PL e / SIL 3', the datasheet lists 'PLd Cat. 3'. The datasheet value is the more conservative one.
- Operating temperature 0-40 C; compute: Real-Time NR-Motion Master controller with a machine-learning kernel; interfaces GPIO, Modbus TCP, analog input, Modbus RTU; Python 'NeuraPy' API.
- No price, launch date or shipping statement on NEURA's pages, only 'commercially available' wording and 'Get in contact'; prices are therefore left empty. Third-party price guides were not used.
- ros_support is false only because the schema needs a boolean: NEURA lists no ROS support on the fetched pages (it offers the NeuraPy Python API instead).
