Key facts
- 12 joint motors; body joint range -49 to 49 deg, thigh -39 to 257 deg, shank -161 to -51 deg (unitree.com/go1).
- Peak joint torque 23.70 N·m (body/thigh) and 35.55 N·m (knee, 1.5x ratio) per the Unitree spec table; top speed quoted as 17 km/h (about 4.7 m/s), a limit rather than the rated range of each version.
- Folded size 0.588 x 0.22 x 0.29 m, weight 12 kg (unitree.com/go1). Standing height is not published, so height_cm is empty.
- Load: about 4 kg on Air and Pro, about 6 kg on Edu (limit about 10 kg on all); speed 0-2.5 m/s Air, 0-3.5 m/s Pro, 0-3.7 m/s Edu (limit about 5 m/s).
- Edu adds Python and scientific programming interfaces, 4G, foot-end force sensors, expansion interface and optional 2D or 3D radar; Air and Pro have none of these.
- Warranty per Unitree: Air 6 months core, Pro and Edu 12 months core.
- unitree.com/cn/go1 also lists a Go1 Max (2 batteries, contact sales); it is not on the English page and is not modelled here.
- Status 'discontinued' is the conservative reading: the Go2 line has replaced the Go1 and a reseller marks it discontinued; unitree.com still shows prices but no availability statement and stock could not be confirmed on Unitree's own store (HTTP 429). Variant prices stay as history.
