Overview
Low-cost 6-axis collaborative robot arm from igus (Cologne, Germany) with a plastic outer structure, plastic strain-wave gearbox modules and self-lubricating, dry-running joints. It lifts 2 kg, reaches 664 mm and weighs 8.2 kg. It comes either as a plug-and-play version with the controller built into the base and the free igus Robot Control (iRC) software, or as an open-source version without controller, where the axis modules are addressed over CAN bus. Aimed at pick and place, sorting, inspection, assembly aid and education.
