Overview
L-MATIC AC is an autonomous pallet stacker with cantilevered forks from Linde Material Handling (series 1170, 1.2 t and 1.6 t). Because the forks have no load wheels underneath, it can pick up closed-bottom load carriers and take pallets from transfer stations that cannot be reached from below, for example conveyors. Lift is up to 4.2 m, travel speed 1.7 m/s (about 6.1 km/h) in load direction, and it runs on a 24 V battery (375 or 500 Ah lead-acid, Li-ion offered). It navigates with infrastructure-free natural-feature (contour) navigation, protects people with front, rear and optional side safety scanners plus a 2D curtain laser, interfaces to WMS/ERP, doors and conveyors, and can be switched to manual operation.
