Overview
Kas is Avidbots' compact autonomous floor scrubber for tight spaces and busy sites such as retail, healthcare, education, transport hubs and light-duty warehouses. It is 674 mm wide, turns in 1.55 m and passes through 1.05 m aisles, scrubs a 552 mm path with a 22 in disc head and carries a 45 L solution tank. It runs on Avidbots Autonomy with 2D and 3D infrared lidar plus RGB cameras, and uses exchangeable LFP batteries.

Key facts
- Sources fetched 2026-10-17: the official Kas page (avidbots.com/robots/kas) and the official one-page technical specification sheet (KAS_TECHSPECS_1page_v8_0811.pdf, document TS-KAS-08112025).
- Dimensions 927 x 674 x 1,230 mm. Empty weight 172 kg; gross vehicle weight 266 kg. Weight is the tech-sheet figure; the web page does not state it.
- Tanks (tech sheet): solution 45 L, recovery 46 L. The web page gives 45 L or 46 L for solution and 50 L or 45 L for recovery in different places, so the tech sheet is used.
- Cleaning: 552 mm scrubbing path, 630 mm squeegee, up to 36 kg (80 lb) head pressure. Practical productivity 500-1,000 m2/h; maximum theoretical 2,186 m2/h. Minimum U-turn 1.55 m, minimum aisle pass-through 1.05 m (the web page says 1.0 m). Maximum working speed 4 km/h; maximum scrubbing grade 3%.
- Kas was announced in April 2024 (BetaKit, 2024-04-11: narrower than the Neo, tighter turning radius, over three hours per charge). No source states when it became purchasable, so year_available is empty. No IP rating, noise figure or operating temperature is published.
- Price: Avidbots publishes none and no reseller listing was found, so the variant shows 'Contact'.
- Battery: both fields come from the dated tech sheet TS-KAS-08112025 (25.6 V x 200 Ah = 5,120 Wh; 'Typical Battery Run-Time: up to 4 hours'). The web page states 4.8 kWh and 'up to 3 hours', which conflicts with the sheet. Batteries are exchangeable.
